North Star Analytics (NSA) currently offers a training course and a workshop, listed below.  In addition to these offerings, NSA offers curriculum development services to develop and/or tailor a class to your particular needs.  More courses are being planned, so please check back soon to view our updated offerings.

MSFv4 Essentials Class

NSA will offer Microsoft’s MSFv4 Essentials Class (currently under development).  This 2-day introductory course will provide a comprehensive understanding of MSF and will establish a solid foundation for better understanding more advanced topics, such as agile software development using Microsoft’s MSF for Agile Software Development approach embedded within their Visual Studio Team Systems (VSTS) development environment. 

Mike Turner, NSA’s founder, is leading the team that is developing this class and is an MSF Master Trainer.  Combined with writing the definitive reference for MSF version 4 Core, Mike brings unparalleled depth of experience and knowledge to the class.

Applying MSF™ Workshop

Building off the foundational material discussed in the MSF Essentials Class, we also offer an interactive workshop that applies the MSF principles, lessons learned, disciplines, etc. to your situation and your organization.   The agenda for this workshop can be determined by targeting known areas that need redress, or can be set once the team has taken the class and better understand where the team s knowledge, process and experience gaps are.
